We are proud to introduce the Flow sensor module

We are proud to introduce the Flow sensor module, one of the most revolutionary links in the end-to-end AirICU® solution, Air 360® - the only portable nebulizer breath sensing technology for critical care systems, dedicated to more efficient drug nebulization rate delivery and antibiotic absorption and lung deposition.

  • Air 360® breathe sensing technology
  • World's First Critical Care Nebulizer Sensor Technology
  • High sensitivity
  • Flexible collocation
  • Higher drug delivery efficiency
  • Higher antibiotic absorption efficiency
Aerogen Ultra, optional delivery of oxygen
Effectiveness

Validity

AirICU® enhances the efficient administration of medication across various respiratory modalities. It demonstrated superior drug deposition during invasive mechanical ventilation (IMV), non-invasive ventilation (NIV), and high-flow therapy (HF) compared to jet nebulizers. Additionally, research indicates that breathing sensor technology is 4 to 7 times more effective than continuous atomization.

Patient care

Clinical Feedback

  • Enhanced lung function in patients receiving non-invasive ventilation (NIV).
  • Similar bronchodilator effectiveness during high-flow therapy (HF).
  • Decreased rates of hospital admissions, shorter median lengths of stay in emergency departments, and fewer treatments and reduced time needed to achieve symptom relief in patients with severe ventilation (SV).
  • Notable differences in FEV1, FVC, breathlessness scores, respiratory rate (RR), and PaCO2 from baseline to 120 minutes in individuals experiencing acute exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
  • A relative increase in FEV1 among patients with reversible obstructive lung disease.
  • Attainment of a mild asthma score following an asthma exacerbation.
  • Optimal results when utilized alongside the AirICU Aerotank.
Workflow

Processes

AirICU® streamlines the workflow.

  • It is a closed-circuit aerosol drug delivery system that allows for medication administration during invasive mechanical ventilation (IMV) or non-invasive ventilation (NIV) without the necessity of breaking the circuit.
  • AirICU® combined with the iBreathe® Critical Care System can provide a complete nebulization solution - including vital signs, nebulization status, nebulization history and other solutions.
  • AirICU® provides integrated aerosol delivery alongside high-flow therapy and can be utilized wit

How can we help

Product support

General

In what scenarios will the Air ICU product be used and with what devices used in hospital wards?

Depending on the indication, the product is intended for hospital use only for nebulizing physician-prescribed inhaled medications approved for use with general purpose nebulizers. It can be administered to patients alone in the hospital or connected to a ventilator.

What are the advantages of AirICU products?

a. Experiments have proven that when used in connection with a ventilator, mesh nebulizers provide better drug deposition results compared to ultrasonic nebulizers and jet nebulizers. b. It is equipped with breath sensing module to further increase the delivery efficiency of inhaled solution. c.  AiMesh polymer diaphragm technology for better drug delivery efficiency.

What parts need to be replaced for each use?

For the same patient, one set of equipment can be used to complete a course of treatment (no more than 28 days). When changing patients, all equipment except the main unit needs to be replaced.

Under what conditions is the AirICU Sensor Module used?

The Air ICU Sensor Module can be used to improve the efficiency of inhaled fluid delivery and reduce fluid loss during exhalation, provided that the following conditions are met: a. The ventilation mode is non-invasive positive pressure ventilation. b. The patient is an adult c. The patient is breathing spontaneously.

Why can't children/infants be connected to the induction module?

In the ventilator, the tubing of children/infants is different from that of adults, and the tubing diameter of the respiratory sensing module cannot be connected.

How long does the Medication Cup last?

Medication Cup, T-Piece (including adult, child and infant), Air Flow Sensor. 28 days (in intermittent use, 4 treatments per day) 7 days (continuous use)

How many holes are there in the nebulizer net of the Medication Cup?

Approximately 1,000

How many times a second does the nebulizer sheet vibrate?

130,000 times per second.

What is the approximate service life of the battery in the AirICU mainframe?

5 years
